The chassis of a car consists of four parts: transmission system, driving system, steering system and brake system. The role of the chassis is to support and install the automobile engine and its components and assemblies, forming the overall shape of the car, and accepting the power of the engine, so that the car can generate motion and ensure normal driving.
Transmission system
The power transmission device between the automobile engine and the driving wheel is called the drive system of the car. It should ensure that the car has the necessary conditions of traction and speed, and that between traction and speed change coordination function, so that the car has a good dynamic performance and fuel economy; should also ensure that the automobile can reverse, and the left and right wheels can adapt to cope with speed, and power according to the need to transfer smoothly with completelyrapid separation. The transmission system includes the clutch, the transmission, the drive shaft, the main decelerator, the differential and the half shaft.
